Russell earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Angelo State University in May of 2015 and has enjoyed working with patients in the skilled nursing and home health settings since then. He was previously performing some part-time work for Colville Physical Therapy and is thrilled to now be a part of the team full-time!
Russell has experience working with people post surgically, fall recovery and rehabilitation, as well as those recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions. He believes laughter is the best medicine and has been proposing that PT stand for “Play Time,” but people still insist it is “Pain and Torture”.
Russell grew up in Los Angeles, California, his wife grew up in Florida, they met in Texas, they married in Oregon and now live in Colville. Russell used to come visit his grandparents in Colville while growing up and is now happy to call Colville “home.” He enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and daughter, running, exercising, playing sports of all kinds, and helping with whatever project Grandpa has. Russell speaks German, is a 4x marathon finisher, and is very good at somersaults alongside his daughter.
